Back in January, the igniter on my oven blew, and I needed help raising funds to fix it, and y'all really came through. This time, it's a bit of a bigger, more expensive problem

The backyard fence (which was old and rotting) fell over in a windstorm and has damaged our shed

The good news is that the neighbour is splitting the cost of replacing the fence with us. The bad news is we still have to pay about $3000, which we don't have. Mom had to take out a loan to cover it, which we of course need to pay back. And we don't even know the extent of the damage to the shed or what it will cost to fix.

Things are already tight between rising grocery costs, having had to replace the cat tree recently, and now this. So I'm afraid I have to ask for a bit of help. As always, if you're in a tough situation, please do not feel pressured to donate. But if you have a few extra bucks, gosh it would be nice of you to pitch in! When you are tired and cranky and the week has not been going splendidly and you have no reason to think it's going to get any more splendid because Things are happening at work that are generally Not Splendid and you'd really just kinda like to go to bed early but the church across the street has chosen tonight to have a concert at 'share with the entire neighborhood' volumes and you understand the importance of music in worship because you're a preacher's kid for crying out loud you grew up with this albeit in a different, considerably quieter denomination but argh you just want sleep!
